Willamette Valley

Willamette Valley is home to two-thirds of Oregon’s wineries and vineyards.  If you are a fan of Pinot’s look no further, as it represents over 80% of the grapes grown in the region.  While relatively a new AVA being founded in 1965 the region has grown from 5 wineries in 1970 to over 300 today, with over 15,000 of planted acres.

The valley is one of the most relaxing wine regions we have visited. We recommend you stay in either McMinnville and or Newton, both areas are close to world-class vineyards and amazing farm to table restaurants.
